Jerome is a self-taught artist who primarily uses watercolor to create portraits and other realistic pieces of art with abstract twists. He has experience with many creative methods including color pencils, acrylic, and watercolor painting. He uses a common theme of duality and balance in his paintings. His art is a product of his work experience with architecture, design and inspiration from his artistic influences such as Enki Bilal. He constantly strives to create. His philosophy is that art requires freedom in structure and personal expression.

Bonjour, magnifique portrait et superbe style ! Cependant, ma question est de savoir pourquoi mélanger l'alcool et l'eau ? Est-ce en vue d'obtenir un meilleur résultat de coulures vers le bas ? J'en déduis que c'est peut-être le cas car en essayant votre technique avec uniquement de l'eau et de l'encre acrylique, celà ne produit que des auréoles type aquarelle et non pas les jolies coulures que vous nous montrez. Merci et bonne journée !
Bonjour, oui l’effet de l’alcool et l’encre crée des coulures différentes et ça sèche également plus vite , il faut en effet tester 😃

about 105 seconds of true frustration that I couldn't reach in and give even a hint of a line to define the right side of the face like the left. But that's why I am typing and you are creating I guess. Loved it tho it needed 1 more line 🙃

Do you use a primer before painting? I really want to create things like this but it seems a very video I come across on here doesn't really show what canvas to use, primer, no primer. Its very frustrating. But great art work by the way man, love it. Might make something similar one day when shown what to do lol
I’m sorry 😬 I used a regular coton canvas I bought at the art store. If you want to try this technique you should buy a watercolor canvas, it’s the best !

watching this brought the same feelings I had when make clay face sculpture, the modelling of light and dark, the fingers stroking the face into being. Love it, and will also experiment with this technique. Beautiful dramatic otherworldy outcome!
Paint with fingers give me a deep feeling of connection with the painting. I would like to sculpt but for now I have so much things to explore with painting…🤣

How do you see the end goal and actually ACHIEVE it? That's the most impressive thing.
I don’t see anything, the goal of this kind of painting is to follow the flow and never predict what happens. I stop to paint when my eyes are not attracted by something weird or an empty part of the canvas.
